Chaplaincy Program Comforts Families in Spiritual Need

Becoming hospitalized, or having a loved one undergo hospitalization, can be a frightening experience. Often, it's the comfort and spiritual guidance that people receive during these trying times that can give them strength to maintain hope and to get better.

A S.A.N.E. Response to Sexual Assault
SA.N.E. (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners), a new program at Doctors Hospital of Laredo, is comprised of registered nurses who have a complex education and clinical training in forensic examination of sexual assault victims.

Chronic Stomach Pain May Come
from Infection

One of the causes of chronic abdominal pain in children and adults is gastritis or peptic ulcer disease, which is sometimes caused by the H. pylori bacteria (Helicobacter pylori).
